Going to be replacing my clutch on my b3 td 1.6 and was wondering if I should replace the gearbox with one with better gear ratios I can get hold of a 2.0 8v one and interested to know if it's going to make a difference atall

Im wondering if it's worth getting standered b3 rear disc conversion or going for the golf gti 5 stud conversion... Opinions please!
