Drove it
Fitted new wheels
Filled the back with a patio
Blew a tyre on the motorway
Took it it to Italy (and back)
Slept in it (twice)
Got it dirty
Washed it once or twice
Fitted my old wheels ready for winter
Praised it everytime I drove it
And generally lugged my bikes around the country!

Is there any neeed to inform your insurer when changing back to the cars original wheels from after market alloys?

I'm sure they could kick up a stink if they wanted.

Asking because I'm about to change mine back before the usual winter motorway madness.

Any one done this themselves?

I've just done a head gasket on my gf's car and replaced the timing belt as a mater of course. Not too bad on a punto with a small transverse engine. I imagine the front has to come off the passat though? :?

Bad luck chaps! :( I had a couple of scrotes use my car as a pavement a while back. Few choice scratches and a small dent on the bonnet. Thing which really pees me off is that it happened at a staff meeting held in a community centre. Because that nights youth club had been canceled the youth...

It was actually quite cosy, the Thermarest helped, nice and soft. I sleep on my side anyway so I just had to curl up like a baby! I wasn't so keen on having some french guy peer in at me though. We did try and find a hotel in a little town just off the Peage, I think they saw us coming though...

Drive to Italy

Seems like ages since I've been on here! That’s what happens when your computer decides to welcome every bit of spyware and virus it can find. When you get it all working you forget what you did on it! Anyway we went to Italy in the car last month and she never missed a beat :D We totalled up all ...

Anyone got a link to get cheap ferry crossings to dublin? Plan to sail from Holyhead, only a couple of hours from us and saves a long time sat waiting on the ferry. Current prices found on various sites for early August are around £250 - £270 return! Is this abought right for two people an...

I met a council work crew in their van driving towards me with one wheel on the pavement of my side of the road on a narrow blind bend lined with trees. But as I took an evasive past them to the shocked looks of the driver of a Jeep Cherokee I was now heading towards, I noticed the van had its hazar...

I looked at a couple of saloons before I was won over by an estate. I think I would have been kicking myself everytime I had to pull my bike to bits in the rain and chipped paint threading it into the boot of a saloon. Very hapy with an estate. Miles easier loading stuff, easily swallows bikes whole...
