Re: Possible to keep DRL's active with lights on?

Thanks for the replies guys. He had just asked the question today and I'm not sure why he'd want to do it either. Figured here would be the best place to ask as when I had my Passat it was the best place for help and tips. I'll let him know it may work but could be a lot of faff. Let me know how you...

Possible to keep DRL's active with lights on?

Hi folks,

it's been a while and I'm posting on behalf of a mate regarding the above. Is it possible to do either through the car's menu or with VCDS?

It's a 2014 B7 Wagon, 2.0 Tdi Bluemotion S.

Thanks in advance.

Cold killed battery in B5.5. Now central locking knackered!

Hey people. After the other nights cold snap of -13 I tried to start the TDi but to no avail. Was turning over but wouldn't catch and start up. Eventually the battery went dead and the rear offside door unlocked as did the front nearside. Now, I jumpstarted the car and so far it's starting and runni...

Re: Questions about the in-tank lift pump -'00 V6TDI

Welcome to the forum mate. I can't give you any advice (sorry) but I am having a similar problem with my 52 plate 1.9 TDi. Does your issue occur when you park the car with the nose facing up hill only?

1.9 tdi sport Clutch Replacement

Hey folks. My clutch slips sometimes especially if I'm in a high gear and try to accelerate at speed. It's a problem that comes and goes and doesn't seem to happen when giving it the beans up through the gears. The car is still driveable as the problem only occurs every now and then. I've spoken to ...

Mine expires next month but the DVLA sent me a letter reminding me to sort it about 2 weeks ago. Just need to get the papers filled in and send them a cheque to get it sorted.

Re: Rear crash bar same on B5 & B5.5?

I've had a look on ETKA and to be honest I'm not really sure what is going on with this. The bumper setups are near identicle on the diagrams but the part numbers are slightly different (3B0 807 311 A for the B5). This part is described as a bumper bracket and looks to slot into the area where the t...

I had the same problem and someone on here posted a couple of pics. If you search the b5 & b5.5 area for "glove box light" you might find it.

Rear crash bar same on B5 & B5.5?

Hi people. Just wondering if someone with access to ETKA can check that the rear crash bar (3B9 807 311) is the same for the above models? I've got a 52 plate tdi sport estate with a tow bar that I want rid of and the dealer want £95.67 + V.A.T. for a new crash bar. Hopefully if it's the same I can...

Re: I've cracked my rim!!

Just been to my local wheel place and they're after £75 per rim or £300 for a set. Then £5 per wheel to swap the tyres over and balance them. Can't really afford a full set but the car is going to look schitt with one brand new wheel and 3 not so brand new wheels. Any suggestions other than kerbi...

Hey people. I've just discovered that I've managed to crack one of my 18" RS6 wheels on the Passat. It's on the inside edge of the front wheel and I've no idea how I did it. The question is can it be repaired or am i looking at a new rim? I'll try to get a picture up tonight so you can have a l...

I thought the cat could be gone but the newer cars are subject to tougher emission regs and might pass and might fail.
I could be wrong though.

Re: Passat vs Clio

I was always led to believe that if the accident was not your fault you can make the person responsible's insurer repair the car regardless of the cost. You shouldn't be any worse off than before the acciddent. You should look into it as it may stop the car becoming a cat c.

Greetings from the corrado forum matey. I was in the same boat although I had a G60 and needed something more econimical for work. I got myself a b5.5 estate (130bhp) and it was mapped to around 180bhp. Rush hour traffic see about 35mpg but that's a lot of stop start driving into work. Most I've man...
