Im still thinking the same been a year and still havent had it done but there was talk its worth having the gearbox oil changed before you do but not 100% im no expert

I got a roll of maybe 30 inches of that seal that vw uses for free from my dealer so i took the foam out and ran this round in the gap its like a 10 mm round seal stuff fitted in the gap lovely pushed it down over the lip and bolted back down was a lovely job not more leaks :-)

It could be the pipe coming from the washer bottle when mine wasnt working looked under the car and it had water everywhere so there was a little joinner coming from the bottom of the washer bottle that had come off and split so had to take the covers off down the right hand side and could see if pi...

For about 3 weeks now been keeping and eye im getting about 100 miles to £20 ish and about 160 to £30 on average My trip says about 36mpg average over about 800 miles on the number 2 trip but on the number 1 trip it can be anything up to 30mpg to 43mpg ish depending on where i go This is a highlin...

Follow this document it's on an American car so other side but it shows you where the blanking plug is in the scuttle that you remove to get at the bolt on the back. http://www.audiworld.com/tech/eng4.shtml They are 8mm so use an 8mm nut driver or a 1/4 inch 8mm socket will fit. I done the pollen filter a few weeks ago and from what i could see from doing that you will need to take off the wipers and scuttle panel i did open up the ecu box and there a screw at the back and you can get to it without the scuttle off i just wanted to have a look in there i had no leak that sid...

I would say pretty much the same as above the bulb is hanging down in the whole maybe not clipped in right
so the bulbs is pointing at the bottom of the lens because of the shape of the lens i would say it needs to be pointing right in the center of the lens for it to spread the light right :-)

Hi alittle confused which bulbs do i need for the rear interior bulbs on my B5.5....what bulb number,i only want standard ones not led. It is called a heater wedge type bulb 5mm if i remember right i had a pain trying to find them aswell when i changed all my bulbs in the car to led a few weeks ago...

If you disconnect anything to do with the airbags the light will need to be reset i disconnected my interiour light and unpluged the little airbag light up there i turned the ignition on and had to have the light turned off i got a vag.com lead and done it that way and good job i did cause i had to ...

i thought it was if you had headlights on ignition off and then get out the car or even parking lights indicatior on with ignition off

Just go with 6000k hid you wont go back to normal bulbs once you have them :-) and if you get normall bulbs they will be £15 £20 each so might aswell get a Hid kit i got mine from ebay £40 and they are brill had Hid on my last 2 cars as sandard so had to put Hids in the Passat :esm
