Tried alarm again seems to be working as indicators flash when triggered but siren doen't sound? What happens if I just disconnect the siren? Is it possible to fit another siren? I have a Maystar S15-65 self powered siren. would the new siren work with CANBUS? How easy/hard is it to change a siren? ...

Have tried all the above but not working? suspect siren?
Is it a common fault?

B6 Estate. decided to try alarm yesterday.not working? the flashing light on the drivers door is lit but alarm doesn't go off when door is opened?
Fitted a new battery to the car last week would this affect it?
Any ideas?

Is it possible to fit a more powerful bulb to B6 Estate reverse light as it seems a bit dull?

I am about to purchase a battery for 2006 tdi Passat but there are two hights 175 mm or 190mm will the cover fit with 190mm?

any comments on the best tyres to fit to 2.0 sport now fitted with Pirelli Rosso 235x45x17.
only doing 3000 mls a year, the rears have worn on the inside edge with 5mm still accross the rest of the tyre,
has anyone found a cure for this or is it one those things we put up with?

Has anyone fitted the rear parking sensor to a B6 estate, the type with the magnetic strip that fits inside the bumber?
Were they any good and how easy were they to fit.

Just a query? Even when the heater is switched off I still get a bit of heat in the cabin?
The pipes at the side of the glovebox are also hot?
Is this normal and does it depend on the temperature setting?

Had it scaned, ultrasonics not installed?
Top of the range Sport model, you would have thought they would be fitted?
Therefor the only alarm fitted is if you open the doors?

Are there any VW technicians on here? who know if interior sensors are fitted to 2006 Passats?
And if they can be adjusted for sensitivity?
And if so how to adjust them?

Has anyone managed to resolve this?the dealers don't seem to know whether or not fitted with ultrasonic sensors or not?Has anyone else tried there alarm to see if sensors work or not?My alarm works when i open a door but not when I open a window and move an arm inside?

Tried it yesterday left windows open for 2 hours, nothing.

it was a wire disconected under drivers seat.

Spoke to last owner who said it had not been disconnected?
Any ideas?
