Re: V6 tdi no power windows mirrors or alarm beep

I must have jinxed my self saying the fuses sorted mine out, last yesterday my windows stopped working again which is the one thing I need to work I hate driving being closed in. I've literally just finished putting every thing back together my central locking had never worked nor did the mirrors, a...

Re: ABS warning light

There no way I'd scrap my b5 over a abs fault it's hard to say what the problem is with out having the car at hand to successfully diagnose the problem, have you scanned for a fault code?

Re: V6 tdi no power windows mirrors or alarm beep

Your describing the exact issues I was having at the weekend so I sympathise with your frustrations.
The electrics were hit and miss until all the windows stopped like I said above fuse 30 seems to have done the trick for me.

Re: Tools thread??

Got some bank holiday bargains so I think anyway.. I can't rate halfords advanced high enough only thing that's ever broke was the 3/8 Philips bit but I use it in a impact gun on a daily basis building fences & halfords replaced it with no issues. http://i303.photobucket.com/albums/nn129/allanmi...

If the turbos spiking it will cause it to shake through out the car , mine does it after i mapped it, but i dont drive 30mph in 5th gear or labouring the engine i make it work alittle.

Re: Clutch and flywheel problems

Sounds like it could be turbo surging under boost at low revs ? But that doesn't explain it just starting after clutch & flywheel.

Re: cutting out and intermittent juddering

Sorry I can't recommend any one , but in all honesty its not a bad job just a little fiddley & they do have a tendency of snapping as your channeling them through the holes , i think I read some where about warming the plastic up a little for more flexibility.i haven't been on here for a year bu...

You should be getting to full temp despite the out door temps at the moment , unless your just nipping to the shops ect take it for a 20 - 30 min drive & check the temp on the climatronic number 45

5 years ago on my escort estate i paid £80.
2 years ago i paid 70 for my passat saloon
On the estate i went for a medium tint which enhanced the over all looks i wanted it darker instantly hence going for limo black on the passat
