Suspension Knocking
Have had new arms front and rear and am still having a very noticeable rattle/knock over bumps and b roads, more notable at low speeds. I'm on AP coilovers but they're not wound down to anything stupid, the garage that did the arms said the knock appears to be coming form the strut, but didn't seem ...

Of course you will notice a difference - If mine is on and I attempt a fast bend or negotiate a roundabout too quickly it will kick in and drop the power from the wheels. If I turn it off I can entertain a 4 wheel drift and lift off oversteer

Could be a sensor in the sump or on the bonnet catch as far as I know... I got fed up trying to solve the problem and disconnected the battery for 30mins - Resets the sensor.

I've never actually got stuck in a 2WD but I'd never go back with a 4WD option - so incredibly sure footed on the road, especially in the rain, which we get enough of here!

That's a good price! 4Motion TDi Estates in Sport guise are pretty scarce! I'm bias but you can't beat the 4WD to drive and with a remap the performance difference as standard is eliminated :wink: However, I only get 42mpg average and have just had to fork out for suspension front ans rear at some c...

Yup - it's this protected section that split in several places. I also had to continually pump the unit throughout the entire process - which took considerably longer than 10mins.

My TDi dumps at gear change, thought it was odd - Very noticeable when the window is down or passing a wall/building etc - Is this not a standard affair?

So after having new front arms fitted yesterday my car now makes a grinding noise when you apply the brakes softly at rolling speed, the brake pedal also judders and sinks a little as if the ABS is kicking in. This has never happened before, present as soon as I left the garage. I took it back first...
