Looking good dude, how'd it feel after the remap? I keep fancying a remap on mine (1.9 105se) but realise it'll never be a super car so I dunno if it's worth it..

Re: Runabouts from the VAG Family

Before my passat I owned a 1.4tdi 6n2 Polo which was absolutely brilliant. One owner from new (a home help nurse) so it had done 140k, I owned it for 3 years and it only cost me service parts. It never let me down and gave me consistently 45+ mpg. Took it on a road trip around Europe and it returned...

Removing high level brake light

Hi all, I'm fitting a genuine r36 spoiler on my wagon over the next few days and need to remove the current high level lamp, has anyone removed/replaced this before? I can't find anything online regarding this and from what I understand golf high level brake lights need prying out! I'm guessing it's...

Re: My b6 wagon, silly low static an wiiide.

About 6 months late on the reply but nevertheless, the rides a.ok! Not as plush as standard but still a nice car to be in. I bought a house last year with the missus so the passat was the work horse for 6-8 months, poor thing took a beating. http://i441.photobucket.com/albums/qq138/TomBooth88/IMAG03...

Since got the seats, I assume the grommets locate the front of the bench? I'll be ordering the grommets from tips tomorow!

Thanks for that jaraz, much appreciated. What are the grommets for?

Are belt mounting points unaffected?

Saloon seats into wagon?

Alright all, I've had a quick search but couldn't find what I was after..

I've been offered a very nice saloon interior/seats from a b6, is this a direct fit into a b6 wagon or do they need adjustment?

It's the rear bench that I'm questioning...

Cheers,
Tom

Yeah, up to the fox and crown down the hill then on the new road! My old boss keeps mentioning your passat (he lives a few doors down from you), keeps asking why mine isn't as 'badass' as yours :hyst

Re: My b6 wagon, static an wiiide.

Cheers lads, I'm well chuffed with it! Front tyre wears fine, the cambers not as drastic on the front as you'd imagine. Bit disappointing :p In other news, I can finally get rid of that nasty votex front splitter that lasted the whole of a week before it broke. I managed of get hold of a genuine r l...
