64split, out of interest where abouts did you route the cable through to get to the glovebox?? Need to do something similar with a Zenec system I bought.

Will upgrading to these cause the power drain issues mentioned in a few posts? I have a 56 plate car with an rcd300.

Yep work's fine from the driver's door buttons...just from the fob. Is it a vagcom job?

My keyfob is only unlocking my driver's door and not the others when double pressing. Recently had a new battery. I remember seeing a thread on how to resolve this, but can't find it! can anyone remember the process for sorting it out? or even better a link to that thread? cheers....

Your right they said the vacuum pipe was worn, hence I figured this could just be replaced without a whole new pump?

Cheers Dave, will try this when the snow has cleared up a bit. Tried the car today (just back and forth in the road from where I left it the other day when I had no brakes) and the brakes worked fine! It was even colder than the other day too. Thankfully I don't need to use it this week.
