Re: Chinese head units - any good?
Also looking at getting one of these. I would be intrigued to know from anyone who has one what the bluetooth hands free functionality is like? How good is the built in mic? Also can you stream music from your phone over Bluetooth?

What oil for a B4 2.0?
Just a quickie...what grade of oil should I be using to service a B4 2.0 petrol? Have bought one with a couple of mates and need to get it serviced this weekend. Only after some cheap stuff...so advice please.
Thanks, Matt

Keyfob only unlocking driver's door
My keyfob is only unlocking my driver's door and not the others when double pressing. Recently had a new battery. I remember seeing a thread on how to resolve this, but can't find it! can anyone remember the process for sorting it out? or even better a link to that thread? cheers....

Your right they said the vacuum pipe was worn, hence I figured this could just be replaced without a whole new pump?

Re: Ideas wanted - no brakes!
Cheers bob will have a read of that. Had mine in to the dealer today for the plenum chamber recall. Told them about my brakes failing and according to the report they've checked the brake servo and there's no water inside. They have found that the pipe coming from the tandem pump is worn and loose, ...

Re: Ideas wanted - no brakes!
Cheers for that desertstorm. The logic fits perfectly with how mine's been behaving the last few days and I'm glad I'm not alone. The brakes didn't work this morning (was about -5 last night) so I left it running for about 30mins, then an hour later I tried again and they worked fine. Is there no wa...

Re: Ideas wanted - no brakes!
Cheers Dave, will try this when the snow has cleared up a bit. Tried the car today (just back and forth in the road from where I left it the other day when I had no brakes) and the brakes worked fine! It was even colder than the other day too. Thankfully I don't need to use it this week.

Noisy airbox problem on 130 TDI
I've been trying to find the source of an annoying vibrating plastic/escaping air type of noise on my B5.5 130 TDI. It only makes it when you come off the accelerator as you decelerate, put the gas on again it instantly goes away. Sounds like the wheel arch liner rubbing on the top of the tyre (but ...
