Hi all, just wondering if anybody has had this problem.

Due to the great british summer we are having on the heavy rain days im getting drops of water falling from the interior light switches in the front. Ive took the panel out which hides the sunroof motor etc and cant see exactly how the water ...

At last :D eventually have fitted the coilover kit,

havnt gone to low yet as need to fit the wheels and set it to suit the new rims but moving house in 2 days so it will have to wait, :sad:

plenty of threads left to go down lower and no speed bumps around the area where im moving the family too ...

Finally done some small mods to the LOONY :-bd , slow start but its getting there, some major bits to fit still sitting in the shed gathering dust :0 but work, wife :-@ , weather, wife :-@ , parents moving house, wife :-@ and kids permitting will all be fitted soon.

Cheers toon, ive got a full set of depo projectors ready to fit but needing a hid kit and not sure if its worth fitting a relay kit for them at the same time. Ive heard that the original wiring loom for the headlamps can sometimes overheat a bit when running a hid kit on it so im just being safe ...

Im fitting a HID kit to my B5 and was wondering if anybody has had any issues with the standard electrics for the headlamps running a hid kit.
Is it worth fitting a relay kit direct from the battery to the kit and just using the standard electrics for control of the relay? :-??

Sorry guys n gals the loon will prob be boggy standard as it was for Alltypes show except i may get a lick of polish on her, is anybody taking any tools cos im picking up a coilover kit on sunday that needs fitting, a set of depo headlamps and hid and indicators oh and my wheels, the shed is bulging ...

I have fitted these smd led bulbs to my passat B5 without canbus. Cost me £1.79 for 2 off ebay, so far so good. :D

Cheers for that, loved that b3, awsome car. Plans for the B5 are low budget fleabay mods, just fitted a stubby aerial and some genuine mudflaps this week (lucky me finding a set), as well buying a set of 17" Audi A6 10 spoke alloys which have gone for refurb, may go for coilovers or set of ...
