i had a look on ECP but they are not showing up on the website, will have to ring them.

did you order the actuators, they seem like a good price as they are around £100 from vw My drivers door has the same problem i just cant be bothered to do it. It is a bit annoying because the alarm does'nt think the doors been opened, so it locks up again. Ive got visions of keys being locked in. ...

the rad looking thing behind the grill is the air con rad
then behind that is your engine cooling rad which on yours
sounds like its rotted on the corner and has started to drip its common
sounds like a new rad is needed

my advice if your not sure is go to the dealers and get the right stuff that way your not guessing
and in my opinion the dealers prices on oil are very good and im a tight ass
£24 for the pd oil
dont know about the long life stuff other than its more money

where do you plug the lead into the car? diagnostics plug is down below the steering colum under the parcel tray kinda get your head in the drivers footwell and look up can you do much with the free version and where do you get it? i think you can do code scans but thats about it. 99 dollars to reg...

Is the a how to anywhere?. i dont think so if you take the rocker cover off the loom is right in front of you and its connected at the back of the head by a big round twist on connection you do have to remove the plastic intercooler pipe to see the connector properly the loom is encased in plastic ...

V dub dave how hard was it to change the wiring loom in the head and how much was it?.
the loom was £45.45
it took me about an hour all in but its relatively easy to do just a bit fiddley

i bought an old toshiba laptop of a guy on here (g60dubster i think it was) with it already installed as i dont think the
software is transferable

it easy enough to do i think its a 13mm alen key for the top and a posi drive
screw driver to undo the filter clamp
you need to take off the plastic intercooler hose to one side to get acces to the filter
its a bit fiddley but easy enough to do

so long as ive got a few instructions its relativley easy the only trouble is
i havent got my own car at the moment to have a go on cos its at the body shop

have you had it on vag com ? and would'nt a failing maf throw up a fault code? when mine was doing it didnt throw any codes up (and i scaned it quite a few times over the weeks cos ive got vag com) which is one reason why i didnt start throwing money at it blindly i did the derv filter first then i ...
