Can anyone tell me the procedure to remove the headlight assembly please, mine has water inside and l need to check the filters Etc are clear before l have to purchase a new unit.

Hi, I'm replacing the DRLs & fog bulbs but can not find anywhere that tells you how to remove the trim, is it simply prying them out or are they held in with screws, if so what type of screw heads, The R line trim is different to other models.

Just in case any of you were weary,I changed the pads and discs on the B7 without the use of a computer, it really is so simple to do ! Only issue l had replacing rear discs was not having the correct size torx bit at the time.

The light did come on but lve since put new pads in with the sensor wire and the light no longer shows, thanks guys, Rear brakes tomorrow and manually rewinding the EPG, fingers crossed.

Hi everyone, lve made a monumental willy up this morning, l was replacing the discs and pads on my B7, l started with the offside first and when l came to put the new pads in there was a brake sensor cable attached to it yet the one l took out didn't, l measured to ensure they were the same diameter...

Yes, go for detachable, you can turn the sensors off for the few times you use it, otherwise you may as well not have sensors, you can also get dedicated electrics which automatically turn off the sensors when reverse gear is selected, bit more fiddley to do though unless you know your way around mo...

I clayed mine last week and got loads of winter gunk off it, before l did that l noticed quite a few tar spots on it, so l used WD40 to remove it then washed it again before getting the clay bar into operation, then finally gave it a good polish using meguiars wax polish, came up a treat.
