How would I find out if the engine is on the at risk list? I thought it was only the later 2.0 that had the issue!

Thanks again chaps... I am going to ask the mechanic to put the turbo back in as there is no play at all in the shaft and all looks good. Is there anything I need to listen to or look for when driving that may save me doing any damage in the future? And if the worst does happen and it lets go! what ...

Been having a problem with my Passat b5.5 tdi Wagon not starting especially when hot.

I have replaced the fuel pump relay but still doing it!!

Any help would be appreciated

That's one of the earliest Type 3's in the UK. Where did it go? I hope he/she changed the late model door mirrors?

2005 B5.5 1.9 TDI Wagon 156K and climbing fast!

My best car was my old Audi b3 80 Coupe 20v.

What a great car, I still miss it after 5 years!! I'll put up a pic when I find the stick they're on.
This is my favourite car at the moment though, a '74 K70.

I'm al from Penzance. I've got a b5.5 tdi Wagon that I've only had for a few months, and one or two other VW's.
