Hi guys, was here a while ago when i had my b3 gt saloon, now thinking about getting a b3 wagon.

Looking for a good set of second hand coilovers if i do get this wagon, not bothered about make as long as they're in good working order, cheaper the better

Thats exactly what mines like under the plastic panels, luckily its still all hidden

So is that washers between the rubber and the top plate, or between the top of the strut and the rubber? I did buy some washers but couldnt figure out where they would go to cure it as the whole assembly is moving, not just one piece

Its not that i'm worried, been driving it like that with no issues for ages. It's just likely to be a fail on the MOT, excessive play??

I think i'll probably just take it for the MOT anyways and see what happens

I have a problem with my front coilovers that i need to sort out ASAP for my MOT. My problem is i has up/down play in the top mount. The rubber mount and the top plate move up and down about half a centimeter. I think the problem is i have b4 top mounts in at the minute. I tried to fit my old b3 top...

Theres a B3 VR6 Estate on ebay at the minute for £1600 in Dublin. If i had the money i'd snap it up ;)

i want to fit front door speakers in my B3 saloon but at the minute I don't have any, just big pockets on the door cards. Obviously i need to change the door cards, but will the wiring for the speakers already be in the doors or will i need to wire them myself? Also, anyone got a set of door cards? ...

I just bought a compression tester to diagnose FUBAR'd piston rings in my 300zx and thought i'd test the passat too.

What sort of psi should i be getting from the cylinders?

Going to be painting the silver bits of the wheels orange when i get a chance

The Wheels are still the standard GT alloys, cant afford any other at the minute so i just painted them lol, but keeping a look out for some banded steels ;)

I was thinking would it fit out the boot with the rear seats down? Or is it too narrow?

How do you manoeuvre it to get it out the rear door? I wouldnt have thought there would be room to turn it on its side and rotate it to get it out

How do you remove the headliner from a B3 saloon? I know about getting the handles etc. off, but i mean how do you get it out of the car?? Would i need to remove the rear or front screen? Because if so thats a big ball ache. I ask because my headlining (like most B3's) is hanging off all over the pl...
