hello kevshiez. do vagcom and see if its convinience or just steering lock. if it is just steering lock u can get it sorted in just 150 poinds from northampton. even cheaper i u do it by ur ownself. give me a shout if u need more advice. i just fixed mine on the weekend with help of my friend. regar...

can i try swapping relays to see if it is relay in my case? how to swap relays and how? where are they located?

little correction. guys phoned me back and said 150 is the cost to repair the steering lock. if you want us to do the whole lot its 250.

phoned ebay people in west yorkshire. been advised to clear vag-com logs and when it happens again see the logs for convinience control module.
