I have the same problem with mine done it for a year or so but got worse would go in to random limp no eml yesterday turbo let go in a major fashion so will see how she goes when I fit the other one

just to add some more info car has been mapped for to years and has an egr delete all vacuum pipes are all good just checked them, engine is fairly quiet no excessive cam rattle, will be due a belt soon tho need to do some measuring on vag com to see if anything looks odd.

morning chaps my car has been running good until a few months ago I started to get a slight misfire more so in the morning, car starts fine but by the time I get to the bottom of the road it has a misfire and is down on 3 cylinders. the strange thing is If I take it reel slow for the first few miles...

mine does that to on idle draws right up and if i pull vac line off it will drop

you could try swapping the n18 and n75 17569 is intake air sensor may be worth changing that if it keeps bringing a fault up? or you can go in to mes block and read what its doing. did you try un plugging some components before you read the codes?

i just had much the same mate code p1557 n75 maf all vac lines checked turbo removed stripped cleaned last thing to check was the map sensor and guess what that was the problem £30 problem solved ive now got 2 new ones if you need it.

one and two look well out that may be the root of your problems there.

sounds like its got no filter or a cone filter or no bum in the air box

ok after some checking and swapping parts off my mates audi it turns out its the map sensor thats at fault so one will be ordered later also found some of the vac pipes were worn just about burst so will be replaceing them to i also checked the vac line from the tandem pump and its loose in the hous...

i to would like to no if this can be done?

ok un update on this one did a chemical clean on the turbo a few weeks ago and all was good until 2 days ago same fault code P1557, so this time i removed stripped and cleaned the turbo tbh it wasnt bad anyway its back on and still the same? i checked the resistance of the n75 valve and it didnt sho...

i will be doing it so its a free starting point its almost like when i shut off the throttle the vanes close and just wont open to create boost mes block 11 showing 92.4% duty i also see now that mes block 3 maf lookis ok actaul 264.6 at idle but egr duty 84.5%? this is when its in limp before i tur...

just saw a post on the next page same codes and most point to the turbo so will remove it first chance i get strip and clean.

hi ive had an intermitant fault for a few weeks no management light on, while light on the throttle feels like the turbo slows down then no boost till you turn the engine off then back on this is the fault code P1557 turbocharger control limit exceeded boost pressure sensor wastegate regulating valv...

if your realy stuck and cant get it to work ive had the immob deleted in my afn tdi. i can have it done for you if req

its on the block at the pas side it runs of the crank not the fly

i can return about 40-43 on a run at no more than 70 mph with 3 adults and 2 kids and fully loaded

i have an afn engine im looking to replace the crankshaft oil seal at the gearbox side does this come as a complete houseing or can you just buy the seal. ive been qouted £83 for it as they say its complete houseing?

i have the same lead and it works fine as karl says its some settings on your laptop im running vista and downloaded it from the link i got with the cable. i can delete faults and log ok. you need to follow the instructions to the letter or it wont work.

my car does this to, all puddle iights work as does dash warnings and buzzer. If i push button 2 times to open all doors open any of the rear doors and leve them the alarm will sound if i push the button and dont open the doors it will relock in about 30 seconds
