Where is the vent hole on the EGR ?

Would I cause any damage using this to stop an Oil leak ??

I did tell them I had already replaced one of the seals (EGR) that they where going to replace but they insisted that this was the issue, (the other 2 where the front intercooler which I didn't replace as these were always dry as a bone).

I have recently booked my car into a local VW Specialist garage to have a niggling oil leak sorted and after paying 82 quid to replace boost seals that I had already replaced or didn't need replacing the oil leak is still there,

Well guys, I was coming home the other night with the windows down and I went over a pot hole and heard a thud from the drivers side..

I noticed the window had disappeared into the door !!!

anyway fearing the worst I took the door apart and found that all that had happened was the 2 plastic lugs ...

Sorted it one side lever that the cable hooks into was not returning to full off position. Some carefull wd40 spraying and a bit of wire brush and now returns to full off position. Must been full of dirt. Cables look brand new with all rubbers intact.

Guys.. I think with this hot weather its done something to my brakes.

I had new pads and rotors fitted last year and its just passed mot with flying colours however,

I went to test the vnt rod for movement when revving the car and the vnt didnt move so i pulled off the vacuum hose ...

Well guys I have logged some data on VCDS on the way to work this morning when half way here the turbo stopped but then if I held the revs in 3rd it came back.

would someone be so kind to have a look, the data shows the car running fine at first then near the end of the data is where my car looses ...

do you think it could be something like a popped off boost hose or something?

like i said, once the turbo has gone i can get it to kick back in by getting into high revs or working the gears and dropping into a low gear.

well guys the error codes are:

reset the codes and took it for a drive and it did it again altho when i scanned again no error codes came up.

it does seem i can get the turbo to kick back in if i get the revs up.

I have had no lights on the dash

I am going to hook up my VCDS tonight and see if there are any codes.

Think i am not gonna paint the calipers any colour as of yet, i like they way it look at the moment, I have noticed however it feels abit heavier under the right foot due to the bigger wheels, my avg mpg computer is recording less mpg, however i dont go off the computer, as these are never right.

Someone suggested sunburnt gloss orange and i am thinkin maybe yeah
