i need to turn the fuel screw back out as its idleing at 1100 rpm and my idle screw is right out,
As for intercooler the mk3 golf tdi is a clost fit i think ...

Yeh i had a scout around last night and also found out its abit of a big job, and wont be a cheap either,

will skip that mod dont think its a must

Has anyone fitted there own fmic to there b4 td or tdis
if so what make size ect is an option,
going to up the fuel and turbo boost on my 1.9td so wouldnt mind fitting one,

picked up this b4 1.9td on thursday,after my other passat was nakard
Its in great nic, 1 owner since new, was an old man hus hip had gone and he had to get rid,
Its bright red if you hadnt noticed and not faded one bit, Its got the AAZ engine in so will do some reading up on how to get this thing ...

Is an ABF engine a strait swap or will things have to be modified? Is there much difference between the 8 and 16v?

Its a 1.8 8v ABS engine at the moment,

Hi does anyone kno what engines fit my b3 estate,
engine has blown and need a new engine, dont want a wiring dilema just an easy engine swap,
am i right golf engines are ment to fit wothout too much work

Hi all my steering rack is realy stiff and sticking like mad on my 1992 1.8 petrol wagon
Does anybody kno if a rack from a b3 TDI is a fit?

Hi has anyone put 14 " banded steels on there b3? Was just thinkin they would look abit small, ?

I did mine the other day- just take of the rad cOver on top, 3 screws for the fan, disconect water hoses and your out, 15min job, now my fan comes on when it gets to hot, i used to have a switch for a week untill i had time to do it properly,

Oh and do you have roof rails? £££

Nope, havent any to start with buddy, will they fit on if i had some? its got the groovs with a rubber like infill strip, dont want to rip it out and it not go back in

Hi has anyone got any roof rails for a b3 estate, and whats the crack with fitting them if i do get some.

yep it doesnt move and Is no good on fuel, the head gasket has gone now so need to either fix it or put another engine in,
anyideas on what fits strait in?

it must be ABS150 205 in the list its a 1.8 litre golf vento or passat
