I am guessing it flashes 1st then goes solid? but yea if it shows a fault get it scanned, odd the coils were not on the recall though..
I'd invest £6.95 in an ebay special and install the free VCDS Lite on your own system, really handy for this kind of thing.

Thats not an exhaust!
Plainly it is one of those crazy-frog bashing arcade games he is just dropping it off for a mate, there is probably a foam mallet on the roof and a 50P coin slot by the filler cap..

What plugs you put in? NGK or Bosch? I know mine started playing up when I switched to Bosch (2 electrodes instead of 3 on NGK) I did get the coils swapped out, I got the light once after that but I had just filled it with Super unleaded and a redex flush so maybe some poo got drawn in. 3 fill ups l...

Dunno mate, makes you worry if you stall they will use the time to go back on that offer.
from what I can see, getting anything done on motors as old as ours is now lucky.
How long are people waiting to here back from VW? mine is almost a month now and still not heard

That Ibiza bonnet looks deep enough to swim in!
I just use Autoglym leather cleaner and balm on mine, I am guessing you'd say this stuff blows it out the water?
I need to rejuvenate my drivers seat, the back is showing a bit of wear where people have rubbed the surround bit getting in and out.

I was thinking of something a bit more discreet.
I wonder if it would be possible to strip one of those down to just the front plate and ports and then wire it directly to the feeds behind the dash with all the gubbins sitting behind the trim?

Good points, My Aux will only be used to feed my ipod to stereo, It's more of a want than a need, like most things  I am more of a radio listener but sometimes it's good to have a change, and an excuse to mess around in the car. I kinda thought a USB charger would be a good idea for general ch...
