2002 Passat 2Ltr petrol. The time clock and mileage trip meter reset to zero when ignition switched off and then both restart from zero when starting up. The total mileage display of the car is not affected.
Any ideas please

I have had 2 Passats, a 2000 and now a 2002, both estates. Both suffered from temp gauge and fuel gauge not working.
