Passat CC Dual purpose leveling arm 3C0412522B
Hi,
I need a front O/S level sensor/leveling arm (arm is damaged). Does anyone know where I can source one (dealers do not sell these separately). Part number is 3C0412522B.
The car is Passat CC 2.0 TDI 140 58reg.
Does anyone know where I can get the part from?
Many thanks in advance!

Scoobdriver, what bulbs have you got in for your sidelights? Have been through a few sidelight wedges, but not really happy with any of them ![Sad ](./images/smilies/icon_sad.gif)

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
Haha a remap is a must! Had my 320d mapped by CelticTuning ( http://www.celtictuning.co.uk/ )... 150bhp became 213bhp on the rolling road :) I bet they would squeeze more out of the Alpina! :) good choice and you must post the pics when you get it! I have seen an estate one with nice and wide tyres ...

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
Yea, I think the 530 would be a happy medium for me :) And I think Alpina D3 would make a better choice if you have the patience and the funds - was looking at them a few months back myself lol they are quite rare on the roads and the extra turbo pushes them up to 200bhp... which is not bad at all f...

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
Ace that sounds tempting! How was it on fuel? Although I suppose it is very similar on a daily run with 530d, just think the mpg needle dips when the foot meets the floor... although if I could afford, I would ideally have a 535d as a weekend car :) but that would mean 3 in total and can barely stre...

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
Haha :) What 5 series are you looking to get? I don't think for a budget of £7500 I will get a 2010 plate E90 Bmer :( I've seen a few 320D M Sport on auto-trader, and they have dropped down in prices down to £6500 for a decent spec, leather heated seats, xenons, 90K - 100K miles on 2006 plate/s. ...

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
Haha are know your not :D......I had the 5 series for 1 1/2 years, car was solid and had no problems whatsoever, mileage was 116K when I bought it, and sold it at 128K miles but made a huge loss :( Never had any trouble with this Bmer, will be sad to see it go. That's why I'm leaning towards the BM...

not jealous... honest... lol how was it ownership-wise?Zeb wrote:My 535D was remapped to 320 BHP, and I took the dpf off which made it ridiculously fast, and shot like a rocket!
Had my fun in the 5 series, now looking for something that's not too fast, and possibly do a stage 2 upgrade.

Re: Zeb's new ride to be....?
BMW 5 series would be my choice (but I am already enjoying the CC!) 530d or 535d are immense! and the handling on them is incredible for their weight and size!

Re: auto hold
In my CC the light on autohold light is not on when the parking brake is engaged. To start on the hill when the parking brake is on, just pop it into gear and the parking brake will disengage when you start moving off (at the clutch bite point the parking brake will disengage). The seat belt must be...

Re: which discs and pads? for remapped car
I would guess the dealers wouldn't want to know about you putting parts on your car that shouldn't be there (as far as they are concerned). In my opinion, the standard brakes are good enough to cope, but it does depend on your driving. If you with to upgrade the brakes in general, would be worth loo...

Re: Looking to Buy a Passat CC
Haven't had much trouble with mine (140 gt tdi) - lovely to drive and pretty reliable. Watch out for the EPB issues though - motor casings on them can be cracked where ppl wound the pistons in the old fashioned way rather than putting vcds in service mode. In my last 40k miles she had new temp senso...

vw did not do it at the time for my cc (asked crewe and stoke) - they said it was impossible to do! I remember the total cost was £250 including the parts I bought - same quote as AwesomeGTI have given

Re: Retro fit items
Routing the cables is a bit of an ache, I had a look through the how to's... and took it to a garage :) something like £150 to install and code, sourced the parts myself. AwesomeGTI do this retrofit and have done for it quite a few forum members here iirc, I would recommend leaving it to a garage.....

Re: fitting voice control mic for rns 510
Got the mic in there - run the wire behind the glovebox, up the A pillar and through the roof lining (this was the hardest part, I would recommend going through the driver's side, fuse box and approaching the top light housing from the right, as I think there is more room in there). Getting the conn...

Re: Help help
Does the car start ok when it is warm? If it is just from cold, I would be tempted to check glow plugs in the first instance - if they are ok, it may be that the engine has compression issues (however, i am not a 100% on this, but had similar problem on 1.7td cavalier a while ago and it would not st...
