Re: who runs veg oil?

I've been running a mk 3 tdi golf recently and the last owner ran it on veg oil for the last 30k! Said in the colder months u really need a 60/40 mix in favour of diesel but summer100% oil! Just before I brought the car he had the fuel pump replaced so I dunno if this was a knock on from all those m...

Re: Letting cars in traffic

If some1 makes a mistake,as long as they acknowledge it ive no probs as we all do it,its the ignorant people who cut u up then act as if its their right!! As far as I'm concerned if u pull out of a junction or into a faster lane u should NEVER cause the car behind to slow down! If u don't have the p...

Re: Ahu to afn.......

With NO work at all just a new map,my car will gain 55 bhp!! This can't be right...can it? Or am I confusing the issue by talkin about afn's? I can understand the 110 bhp hitting 145 but surely not the 90 hp??

Re: Ahu to afn.......

So let me get this right... 216 nozzles will drop straight in and a turbo from a pd lump will run with my ecu? I heard somewhere the voltage is different? Will my turbo av enough grunt to make use of larger nozzles even if she smokes a little?

Ahu to afn.......

Just a quick question...
Will a turbo from an afn fit to a mk3 golf ahu if I get the manifold as well??? If so what other bits will I need to get to afn spec? Injectors? I'm only after 130ish bhp,I'm hoping the standard nozzles will hold once mapped.

Re: worn belt??

best way to remove and replace a/c drivebelt is to remove/re-fit the tensioner with the belt so to remove, take both 6 mm bolts out, remove tensioner, remove belt to re-fit, place belt over both pulleys and then bolt the tensioner on did you check the clutch pulley as these are often the cause for ...

Am i worrying about nothing? car getting warm?

When i brought my passat tdi,the temp sender was busted so the gauge read zero except the odd occasion where it came to life and it rose to 90c and stayed for a coupla seconds then fell back to zero.......I replaced the CTS and ever since over the last 2000 miles she sits steadfastly at 90c never go...
