Re: Wheel Question
Thanks for the tips guys, but tbh it sounds like more trouble than its worth with camber problems, hard rides and pot holes, think I'll maybe bung some 16's on and leave the ride height as is

Wheel Question
I have a dilemma
My Passat estate is currently standard, I want to "pimp" it a bit but not too much as it is A. My daily driver and B. Carries a load from time to time. so my question is this:
I want to replace the wheels with something a bit bigger and cooler than the current 15" VW Wheels, but ...

Water Leak
I have quite a nasty water leak from the rear of the engine, the previous owner told me it was a hairline crack in a little cap somewhere on the top of the engine and the part was about £30.00 but I can't see the bit he's talking about and the amount of water that flows out when stationery seems ...

Re: Alloys? Bentley or Merc
I'd like a set of these, but apart from the fact they are AMG Merc wheels, I don't know what Merc they come off which makes it difficult to source them. I see the are also avantgarde, but when I searched for them on ebay the amg merc avante garde alloys did not bring these up....

Alloys? Bentley or Merc
Being quite new to all this Passat malarkey, I'm getting a bit confused by all the conflicting stories about what wheels do and do not fit the Passat. A guy round the corner from me has a Golf with Bentley 20" Alloys on it, but someone else has said that Merc AMG wheels fit too. Up to now no-one has ...

My newly acquired B5 VR5 Estate
Well here is my bog stock, 2000 Passat VR5. Not planning on anything major, just lowering, nice alloys and tints, with a possible de-badging!

Thanks
Looks quite a list of stuff you've done there, and more to do too.
I'm still deciding what to do with mine.

Passat Newbie
Hi Everyone.
Just thought I'd introduce myself as I've just acquired, today, a 2000 VR5 Passat Estate in good but standard nick, and I'm looking to subtly give it a "polish" 18" inch rims, lowering, tints etc, etc.
Also I'd like to mildly tune it, air filter, exhaust etc.
