Whoever fitted the screen should have actuated the wipers and headlight sensor. Presumably the replacement was done through your insurers so get in touch with them if the glass people refuse. At the very least your insurers should pay a dealer to do the actuation as part of the screen replacement.

To repeat - The mirror down function was only available with memory seats in the UK on the B7. There is no way either a dealer or VCDS owner will be able to activate this function otherwise. I would be delighted to be proved wrong!
