Hi, I need to replace my fuel pump in the fuel tank as its sounding like it on its last legs.
I can't seem to find the genuine part online so does anyone have the part number so I can search online for a replacement?
Many thanks

Re: Rumbling noise
I think this is the fuel pump. Mine started doing this yesterday and I thought someone had a motorbike idling nearby, until I shut the engine off and realised it's my car. I lifted the rear seats up and the noise is definitely the pump I think

switch is around £20 give if take depending where you purchase from.

Re: windscreen replacement -Wiper sensor
I suspect it has lost its adhesive and isnt sticking as well. maybe give the glass a good clean and try clean the sensor pad as best as possible. I brought a new one for mine in the end.

Cant help with the key but sounds like it might need re-coding
My fan blower packed up, same as yours all lights etc...
I removed the blower and sprayed it up with wd-40 and manually span it to work it in. This done the job, very easy.
A little fiddly to remove the blower but not impossible

Well the garage said its showing no power to the motors and is showing error with the control module, going to be £500 odd for that and maybe more if one of the motors is gone! Ouch, HANDBRAKE AND CABLE NEVER COSTS THIS MUCH VW!

Hmmm, I think 4.5 is my limit. Seen some nice ones on auto trader going for only £3995. Not sure I want that hit on depreciation. I am a fan of wispa golds though.

Re: Parking brake stuck, HELP!!!!
good read that link, ive joined the fb group. I doubt VW will ever admit to this poor design fault. I've decided the car shall be up for sale once ruturned from repair. I simply dont trust this EPB, and want a basic car with less gadgets and potentional faults. lever and cable all the way!
