Do you have any pictures of how much stretch 215's have on those wheels?

Hi Everyone,

I have a 2003 B5.5 (the estate) running some 19" Audi RS4 Reps which i think are 9J wide. I run 235/35/R19 91Y toyo T1R's and I need to replace them.

Now I have the car quite low on coilovers and I want to replace the tyres with ones which give me a little stretch so they dont rub on ...

The best wheels of all time are BBS RS's they suit so many cars. If I changed my 19" RS4 wheels then I'd buy a set of them.

Standard wheels are pretty boring but the road America wheels are allright.

Here's a couple of pictures of my 312mm Upgrade.

I got calipers and Carriers from a 2001 Audi S3 (I used my standard passat calipers)

sorry for doubting everyone, I took the caliper off last night to see that the pads had a chamfer top and bottom but were flat on the sides. Feel a bit stupid as I was certain the pads didn't have any chamfers on at all.

Anyway all is good and the brakes are fine much better than before ...

The pads i used didnt have chamfers you see.

The outer face of the Discs hasnt been touched by the pads at all. I'll just whip the wheel off and have a better look at the pads tomorrow.

I just had a similar problem on my Clio track car and the Race pads ate through a set of discs in 50 miles!

I don't think the pads are tapered, the face of the discs still look brand new. I can't see the back of the discs because of the metal shield but I'd say one side would be wearing and the other side won't be!

I upgraded my passats brakes with Audi S3 carriers, 312mm discs and some standard pads yesterday.

I checked the carriers and everything was very similar apart from obviously being slightly wider. I was careful with the choice of discs and made sure i bought the correct ones with the right offset ...

Thanks Ant, can anybody point me in the right direction about information on oil changes? What grade oil for my engine, how many ltrs any tips? Still trying to get used to the forum!

I've started to make a few changes to the car, changing the numberplate lights from yellow bulbs to white bulbs, and also changing the interiour light from yellow to white led lights! Makes it look much better!

Does anybody have the answer as to how to remove the interiour lights from the back seats lights? I can't pull the clear plastic bit out and can't remove the whole plastic part.

I've just bought a 2003 VW Passat Estate for towing my Renault Clio Track/Race Car so i thought i'd regester on here. I'm from Aylesbury so if you see me give me a wave lol.

The Clio is my project car so i bought the passat with a few bits allready done to it.

It has 19" Audi RS4 ...
