Hi all just wondering what the service schedule for a 2002 passat 2.0 tdi is ?
The guy im buying it off says the cambelt was replaced at 70k but the recommended is every 110k which i find very odd.
It has now done 129k

Hi all my suspension is getting a little tired so in the new year im replacing all the suspension components. And i was wondering what other models i would be able to get the struts and springs off.
Mines is a 2000 B5 tdi sport.

there is a flow basck to the bottle but its stop start, the pressure in the top hose builds up very quick

Is there a way to 100% confirm its the head gasket that has failed ? I dont want to buy a new radiator, water pump, thermostat and cambelt then to find once ive built it all back up it was the head gasket after all. I thought maybe thermostat but that wouldnt explain the loss of coolant would it ?

Would the top rad hose be solid if this was the case ?

Bought my 2000 passate 115 tdi sport on saturday after the trip home i noticed it had lost a little water i topped it up and drove it again about 20 miles and its used some more. The top rad hose is very pressurised. The temp gauge hardly goes up but the heaters get warm. I had 2 collant gas testers...
