Steering wheel lock and limited revs?

Anyone had an issue with the steering wheel lock warning light? and revs being limited to 2000rpm?
I now had two seperate instances with the above errors, want to know if anyone else had an issue. :cry:

Apparently they can update the nav system but it costs £70 and about and hour to do, its not a cd update but a firmware on the nav itself. I'm not sure about the MFD updates that are being reported, i.e missing tyre pressure display etc etc.

Rear wiper disconnect?

Anyone know how to disconnect the rear wiper motor for when I carry a bike rack? Don't want it to start when reversing when its raining, not that it rains much in the UK! I'm thinking of putting a switch in the tailgate panel so I can switch manually off.

Try turning the volume knob when she speaks, it adjusts there and then instead of the setup method. The sat nav is good, especially the road blocking and traffic reroute in dynamic mode. From week 22 all passats should have been delivered with the 7 digit code. VW will upgrade but they say it takes ...

Fed up of getting flashed but I now flash back..
The near side one on mine turns itself of when the main lights come on for some reason, depending on how I switch the lights on it either stays lit or goes to bed! Anyone having similar issue? :-@
