Don't solder the wires, they work of resistance soldering them will cause a resistance in the circuit for the wires causing a light on the dash or airbag may deploy, I would use some heat shrink connectors, got loads spare if you need any pm me.

Yes sorry mate I work for Audi so got them from there also did the oil and filter.

I used all new gaskets 1 for the exhaust cat/done pipe, 2 for the turbo return, the feed pipe had 2 metal washers on the oil filter housing and to the turbo it's a 17 mm nut and the pipe is flared with no gasket similar to a brake pipe.

Well got my turbo back yesterday from turbo force in Preston and had a hybrid built, the work looks very good, refitted it today and my noise on boost has gone so all good for now, thanks for all the recommendations.

This is what I have got now it's a bit dirty, I used to have a mk3 golf gti in blue sold it to my mate in woodley you might have seen it about with bbs splits on.

Olive green saloon on bbs ch, I live in marple used to live in woodley.

You can pull the disk off and you might have to tap the new one on with a rubber mallet or hammer.

Not sure not taken one off for a while possibly Allen key or 16,18 mm socket, but you usually don't need to remove the carrier.

They are the same setup on the calipers but you may have to remove the carrier to get the disk off, you may be able to squease the disk on/off without taking the carrier off.

Any one recommend a remanufactured turbo or company to do it ?.

Can anyone advise a place to get a new turbo from, the engine is a 1.9 tdi awx, I have looked on eBay and found a few places that do recon turbos but not sure on the quality, any suggestions ?, also I work for Audi as a tec and new genuine to me is about £850 and too expensive. Thanks Adi.

It should be a external slave cylinder, only thing I can think of is to not trap the wiring or pipes on refitting the gearbox I use some silicone spray lube on the pipes and wires to help get it past and over the box when fitted, would also recommend a long extension and wobble head to get all the b...

My friend has a garage in hazel grove called Audi doctor, he is a ex Audi tec I used to work with and specialises on seat,Audi,vw and soda.

They sell them on ebay the same as the 150 pd golf I think, just email them on ebay to confirm.

Try a place called audi doctor in hazelgrove he is a ex audi tec and specialises in audi,seat,skoda and vw, with competitive price's and only uses genuine part's, worth a call for a quote, I uesd to work with him and would reccomed this garage.
