also check the diaphragm on the egr valve. i had the same issue and cleaned the egr, changed n18, changed vacuum pipes and in the end it was the diaphragm. to check it, disconnect the vacuum pipe from the other end (so that the vacuum pipe is still attached to the top of the egr) and suck it. if the...

32psi is good. im a tyre fitter and i run 32/34psi in mine. if your tyres are wearing on one edge ie inside or outside it could be that your tracking may need adjusting. if your tyres are wearing on both edges ie inside AND outside then its under inflated. hope this helps you :-) Sent Using My Thumb...

have a look in the "how to" section mate. if gives you a step by step guide and tells you where you might get trouble ie the pinch bolt. the job isnt too bad.

i did mine last month on my 130 tdi. the sound has hardly changed, its just got a slightly deeper tone. i did notice that the car seems to pick up quicker, it feels smoother. next on the list is a decat.
