Hi all, I am soon to break a '99 B5 VR5. It has an excellent 5-speed box and clutch. The clutch is on it's way out on my B5.5 PD130 (170 ;) ) tdi 5-speed, and gearbox is a bit noisy in 4th. Incidently, all three letters of TDI are in red on the boot lid. I assumed someone has retrostuck this on at some point, but I've since seen a few more in Germany about the same age with all three letters in red.
