Re: PD130 TDI no low end power

Tried everything on vacuume / boost system. Swapped N75 with N18, changed MAF, MAP, cleaned turbo, new vacuume pipes (simplified no N18 or vacuume reservoir). No change at all. Next I am going to check in tank pump via fuel return pipe. It should be 1.2L+ per minute. If in tank pump is ok, must be t...

Saab is 100% better choice. Or Even better Volvo S60R.

Re: PD130 TDI no low end power

Took turbo off today, cleaned it, made no difference. Tried another MAF - the same. I think it's fuelling issue. I am very surprised I get no smoke at all with car being so underpowered. No sure where to start next. Probably take fuel return pipw off with the engine on idle see if it's enough fuel.

Re: PD130 TDI no low end power

Checkex turbo tonight and it looks ok, actuator moves freely, I also get vacuume from N75.

It's strange that car has no boost up to 2000rpm, but there is no black smoke at all?

How to go about to check fuelling?

PD130 TDI no low end power

Up to around 2000rpm car feels very flat and doesn't pull uphill in 6th gear. Last night I did boost log and it looks like actual doesn't keep up with specified. I swapped N75 and N18valves, but didn't make much difference. MAF actual reading is higher than specified, but I think os due to disconnec...

You can pick up LUK clutch and flywheel for less than £300 from carparts4less.

Darkside ships anywhere, but they add 20%vat at the checkout.

Start looking at the radiator, most common problem. As for the heater matrix it's a dash out job.

Fuel injectors squirt a little fuel into the engine cylinders after combustion. How it comes back I have no idea, but heard that oil level start rising.

Re: DPF light

DPF wouldn't regenerate if there are any faults in the engine system. So it's worth to check for faults using VCDS. In order to DPF to regenerate, car has to warm up properly and it needs steady drive above 40mph and 2000rpm. Once all the conditions met, ECU will activate active regeneration. It use...
