This can be done with VDS Pro (but not Vag-Com), well you press and hold the Lock/Unlock button and the windows roll up/roll down... I have done this on my B5 and also Winkle's B5.5 and both work a treat!! Be careful with the KVW100's as once used they lock you out the CCM and you cant modify it any...

Yes it can be done, I set it up on my car the other day!! Woohoo... Used a new cable i bought and some software called VDS Pro!! 8)

Plate, relocation........what number plate!? hehehehehe... i have mine on my dash, well kinda sometimes, never had any problems, but for MOT etc, it gets cable tied to the lower grill at front... think a couple of people have got Plate mounting brakets for something else and fixed them to the lower ...

Sync'ing the key shouldnt be difficult at all, i did mine first time, before it was cut or even coded to the immobilser!

I kinda remember someone saying you had to get the grill off, and then drill a hole in a part of the plastic where the lock is and then use a screwdriver and it will release... I think it is on here somewhere...will post a link up i find it. EDIT: Found it, ok it wasnt on here but hey, were not all ...

If you have an after market CD player you might find the sensor has been unplugged, mine has been and havnt got round to plugging it back in...job for this weekend me thinks!!madrob6 wrote:As col said it's part of the optional Votex alarm fitted to certain B5s. Well going by all the replies so far it looks like im the only one that has had problems with the Channel Tunnel :( On the way there they put me on the normal car carriages, caught and got stuck getting on, eventually got on, then depending if my speed was over 2mph i caught on the door stops inbetw...

I would get another set of tyres and see what happens, probably going to be the cheapest way to see if its still a problem, like i said mine were uneven wear when i got the Wassat, changed the tyres,did the tracking and got the front suspension height measured (1 side was a little out so I adjusted ...

Personally im not one for chrome on the outside, but it does look good, i just wouldnt have it... Get a photoshop done with the black bits and see what it looks like, i think maybe with the door handles done black might be a little too much and might look out of place... but like i said, PhotoShop!!...
