With regard to the top mounts, I get a lot of my service parts from these guys, maybe give their Quantum mounts a try?

That's such a lovely B2! Before you sell it, consider submitting some photos of it for my calendar If I get a few B2 entries I'll do a B1/B2 edition for 2015.

Well there's truckloads of B2s running around Russia too, plus the Chinese kept on building them for decades. Seriously, they only stopped production of the B2 last year.

Really? Wow I assumed the B2 tunnel was the same size regardless of gearbox/engine combo. Hmm food for thought.

Oh I suggest it for only an interim fix, until you can get it fully painted. At least to make the difference in colour not as apparent

Oh dear. Well, you could give it a compound buffing and see if anything comes back from it, for now? Use some compound and a polishing head and then hit it with wax afterwards. One never knows, might find some red in there somewhere

I am just amazed that VW Heritage have brand new bumpers for a B2, that's bloody marvelous!

Have you given your current paint a really good detail with some polish, clay bay, wax etc? Might not look too bad for the interim My Mk1 Golf needs painting but I fake it with Autoglym eheh.
