straight forward job,takes about ten mins.the glow plugs cost me £39 from local motor factors but they are genuine Bosch parts and not the chinese rubbish on ebay. pop the bonnet,remove the engine cover if fitted. locate the glow plug leads,they are just under the injectors on top of the engine on ...

Thanks for that Karl.ive searched on forum before i posted and got some pretty useful info from here. I suppose a decat pipe is a better option in some ways as atleast then i could always revert back to standard cat if i ever wanted to.but moneys a lil tight right now and i know most folk just smash...

passenger side on my B5 was also tricky,ended up removing the air box pipe work and bending my arm in a way i never want to bend it again to get the sidelight bulb changed.
was easy really looking back.just keep going at it.you will get it out.

dont see why not mate.my mate took his battery of his vectra and put it on his pug 106 other day just to tide him over.

my 1.8 petrol did this last year.cost £100 all in for a new front pipe fitted.and yeah,it will affect performance and fuel consumption (in a negative way)
