Or know the best place to get 1 from please

flameing £255 canny cheap considering euro car parts wanted £380 for exactly the same parts

its as though it just hasnt reached the correct gear and grinds was thinking bout adjusting the gear select bar but dont realy want to incase i knack up the other gears and the rattle under the car is the brake pads i checked whilst going over some speed bumps thanx for pointing me in the right dire...

yes with the engine off it engages 4th and stalls when you release the clutch
and yes it looks like its been clocked but for the price i paid it could have been round the world and it still would have been a bargain lol

its a ex taxi and 1 ov the last mots had 300k on it but clocks say 118k now ,
Gonna put a single mass conversion on it next week to see if that helps and if no better then gonna save for a gearbox no swearing £260 then i will have spent the same as the car cost lol

can any1 advise me if a clutch off a 6 speed awx engine 1.9 tdi passat 130 will fit onto a 5 speed 1.9 awx engine passat 130 please

I have just done this on my car and its easy to remove the compressor and gives so much more room to work and i had to take mine off twice as was wrong starter

removed the starter motor for the new 1 that arrived today to go in which was the wrong 1 so had to refit mine back in after i cleaned it and filled it with wd40 (works every time now) fitted new rear pads and discs tomorow im going to collect a new gearbox for her and next week a new clutch and fit...

tool to change alternator clutch pulley £13.99 on ebay and belt about £20 from local auto shop
alternator clutch £30.00 on ebay
remove alternator and change pulley then put a new belt on simples
