Ok thanx for all that guys av already tried the ptf tape. Either i didn't use enough or commit but didn't work am gonna try a new plug and a rubber washer and more ptf tape

My sump plug on my b5 vr5 seems to go in ok but when all the way in it just turns and doesn't tighten enough so therefore i have a small oil leek any suggestions on fixing this would b much appreciated

I have same problem as above on my b5 vr5 and my interior light comes on with all doors except front passenger Wots this mean how much it gonna cost?

Just keep whacking it lot and hard it took me 4 hours but it came out 1mm an hour i think

Just wondering if Any1 had 4 wheel bolts lying around as my passat has 1 missing off each wheel thanx

Its got 115k on it and the crunch not that bad if i let the rev drop it doesn't crunch at all but does wen u do a quick shift slides in no prob even with the crunch i was thinking about changing the gearbox oil soon and maybe bleeding clutch servo too do u think this will help

I have a passat vr5 2.3 v5. I have a small problem with my gears. It goes into all gears easily but when selecting 3rd it seems t crunch a little could Som1 tell me if i bleed the clutch serve would this help or is it a gear linkage or even worse a full clutch needed any advise please
