Re: Water in footwell
There's no water around the seal of the rear door I see the rear boot lid has two rubber seals. The left side is loose and that is where I see a drainage plug for water. Could this be clogged and how to I clean this? The rubber around the right side (drivers) is on tight. The left one is loose and c...

Re: Water in footwell
I will do the hose thing tomorrow. It's not got a sunroof so it can't be that. Where is the drainage that's meant to be next to the battery? Can someone point that out for me if possible? And also any other areas to look at as the car is starting to smell and the weather has taken a turn I'm panicki...

Re: Water in footwell
Could be the door panel seals, but not heard of issues with the b6 regarding this. Has the car ever had a side impact that necessitated a body shop repair? Yep a lady merged lanes and had scraped the drivers side of the rear three quarter (drivers side was hit but the water is on the passenger side...

Also the foam where the pollen filter fits under the passenger airbag seems okay too

Water in footwell
Dear all. I hope you are well I have a strange and really rather annoying problem with my B6 I've searched and read and have tried to rectify the problem but can't see where the issue would be It first started with a wet rear passenger seat Today after having a look the rear passenger mat and floor ...

Re: URGENT REGARDING 2.0 TDI INJECTORS
Bit of a silly question but I've already had mine redone and replaced. I have a 170 pd engine. All was well but the past 6 months or so I have had terrible MPG and poor start up. Were the injectors replaced with the newer type? Are these prone to failure too? And can or am I able to get these repla...

Re: Hid 35w vs 55w
In our experience they don't. Most of our customers had tried and wasted money on such bulbs, then to pop over to xenon HIDs and realise the significant improvement on them.
For the money it really is a great mod to the car

Re: Hid 35w vs 55w
That is true but to some extent. The projectors of the passats are wide and sizeable enough to provide enough clearance for the heat and light output. Bearing in mind the bulb is set correctly and flush to the housing. Stable 35w kits like ours have had no problems and even match to those supposed 5...

Re: RE: Maim beam HIDS
All xenons take time to blow up to full brightness and strength. Its impossible for igniters to cause such a reaction to hit the components in bulbs to get to full brightness right away.

Re: RE: Maim beam HIDS
That is in theory right. And that is how xenon and HID bulbs produce light. And it is the mixture of elements and components in the bulb itself that determine the colour of bulb ie 6/8/10k bulb. What you do however need to understand is that a xenon bulb in comparison to a halogen or LED bulb which ...

Re: RE: Maim beam HIDS
That strictly is true but a HID in main beam with a h7r bulb will pass MOT and will work. I cant vouch for cheaper ballasts but ours will work without problem even if not used for a while. Theyre covered in theory to work for thousands of hours but for business sake we supply a years warranty. That'...

And we're proud of the work we've done with our suppliers in providing the best quality kits for the best prices possible. As well as keep...

Re: RE: Maim beam HIDS
It is definitely. We've been doing it for 4 years now and know the poo that is sold on ebay. We only source and know and supply the best. Its funny as we know the suppliers that supply some of the big chains in HID selling in the UK and although they charge an arm and a leg for their systems here, t...

Re: RE: Maim beam HIDS
Sorry about the delay I've been bed bound and attempting to walk as I've had a 3 1/2 hour surgery for the ligament reconstruction on the Friday just gone. Our ballasts have the very best components, a digital chipset, shock and surge shutoff and protection and as a result of all lf the top quality p...
