Worries my slightly as I have a 2006 passat BXE engine, I bought on 100,000 and now have had it 4 years in august and have covered some 44,000 miles on top. The mileage is 141,500 and I have to go over bloody speed bumps every day to work . So that wears it out more. I go very slow over them oh and year is 2006.

well have managed to release the bonnet as got the mrs to lean on the bonnet when i pull the handle by the foot well. Have sprayed it with loads of wd40 for a temp measure. Next is buy some universla grase and slap lots of that on it.

Panic over. back to driving and enjoying my b6.

I have noticed that this is stuck and cant open the bonnet. Is this a common problem on the b6?

the lever pulls a bit but doesnt do much. I dont want to force it as i may break something. Any advice people?
