Use this " passat 35i coilovers " to search ebay or google.

Gearbox, driveshafts,steering, etc. If i were you i would swap the whole front end unit. You also would need to be careful not to fall foul of IVA rules. you need to keep certain parts original and if you changed the whole front and fitted coilovers you would need to take an IVA.

Have you done a cylinder pressure check? A dodgy valve or worn ring will make the car run rough like you describe without any flags from the electronics.

You can also set the amount it raises the volume so its not stupid loud but stays at the same volume relative to the amount of noise your car makes at speed.

Its a rear subframe mount and yours is fine you can wear the square bit in the middle down until the bottom of it is completely gone and the sides are level with the main plate. In fact its better when you do as it gives you another 5mm clearance and you can run really low

As i understand it nitrogen molecules are larger than air molecules so less escape through the tiny holes all wheel/ tyre combo's have, so if you never check your tyre pressures it may be worth doing otherwise dont waste your money.

I had a B3 1.8 8v and easily beat 30 commuting with a steady 42 on a run at 65ish. Couple that with a 15 gallon fuel tank and you can get over 600 miles to a tank. IIRC the best i got was 632 miles driving home from Spain.

Three main problems I can see, you would need to swap the gearbox for a Merc, Bmw or Jag RWD one.
